Shoreline Productions had been in the business of shooting and editing high-quality video for broadcast, commercial, and corporate clients since 1987, so when the opportunity arose to produce our first video for a business meeting in 1992, we took our show on the road. And through the years, although the equipment has changed radically, the basic requirements have remained the same: equipment portable and compact enough to fit into baggage holds and hotel rooms, multi-talented personnel capable of performing every aspect of video production, and the enthusiasm to work anywhere in the country or in the world.
We can send crews and equipment to the site of your meeting to stage scenes, shoot interviews, and capture the activities of the participants. We can then edit this footage together with, music, narration, graphics, footage from the ballroom cameras, and other elements into as many video modules as you've planned. Editing can be done overnight, or over the course of the meeting, depending upon your needs. We work in concert with the ballroom projection people to ensure that the modules arrive in the right format at the right time. All of our equipment is High Definition and tapeless, although we can still produce video in legacy formats. We use Macs running Final Cut Studio, and always travel with at least two systems. Our shooters and editors have all worked in broadcast and/or corporate television for a minimum of five years, and all are well-versed in the particular requirements for producing video for business meetings.
We work with as much or as little client input as you feel comfortable with. Many of the producers we work for simply set up the parameters of the job with us, conveying their vision of the final product, and let us run with it. It’s one less thing they have to worry about when so many other things demand their time and attention.
We can also pre-produce video modules that run at the meeting. We have flown all over the country, and even overseas, to gather interviews and B-roll for these modules, and they can be edited at our facility in Chicago before the meeting.
After your meeting, we can assemble as many of the video elements as you would like to create a compendium of the show. Speaker presentations with PowerPoint and video rolls can be edited into clips for the web or authored into DVDs. We can also make as many copies of the DVD as you need, and send them out to your people in the field.
We have already done everything that has been described above for many meeting producers and corporate clients. Centrally located on the shores of Lake Michigan (hence the name), with access to meeting venues anywhere in the world through O'Hare International Airport, we are able to send crews and equipment to your meeting site quickly and efficiently. |
