Shoreline Editing Services

Shoreline Productions is a small company with one edit suite, and that allows us to keep our rates low and our level of personal attention high.  We treat every project that comes through our doors as if it were our own.  Hopefully, we’ve already shot some of the video that we’ll be editing, so the production process has already begun before we’ve made the first cut.

Our main suite is large and comfortable, with a desk to work at, a sofa to relax on, and room for the whole team.  It’s equipped with a Mac Pro running Final Cut Studio, a Matrox MXO2, and a 52” HD monitor, as well as Betacam, DVCAM, and HD tape decks.  We also have a smaller edit bay running FCS that’s networked with the main suite and with our storage drives.  Our editors are experienced and creative, love to work in a collaborative environment, and know their tools.

And because we do so much work on the road, we also have two Mac-based location editing systems.  These can be set up in hotels or convention centers, with tape decks and monitors (SD or HD), so that we can produce finished videos on-site for meetings and events.  We’ve traveled all over the country, and internationally, with these systems, and our clients and audiences are always wowed by the sophistication of the programs we can produce so far from the studio.

These portable systems can also be set up and networked in our home office so that we can have four systems working simultaneously.

Our clients are primarily corporate and independent producers and producers of business meetings.  We edit sales and marketing videos, news features and docs, and video modules for meetings and events.  But our editors have also worked in broadcast and commercial production, and so bring that experience with them to all our editing projects.
